OP, friendly advice: hire a marketing person that can describe what this is all about in terms that non-electrical-engineers can understand.

Difference
RIMU is a versatile, open-source microcontroller-based platform powered by the ESP32 chip. By swapping out different modules, RIMU can be easily configured to perform a wide range of tasks. For instance, when combined with a current measurement module, RIMU can function as a standalone current monitoring device.

  1. Host + current measurement module + relay module + wifi allow for remote monitoring of equipment operation and remote control.
  2. And some other applications.

:question: I am nervous that the headphone jacks and current xdcrs have 600vac dialectic strength?
:a: Thanks for the information. The split current transformer sensor(SCT-013-000) with headphone jack has different models such as 10A,20A,30A,50A,100A, the dialectic strength is 1000VAC/1min 5mA, but some others sensors are just bare wire. We are making the new design for this one now.

:a: As you can see, rimu is a modular device. The current measurement module is just one of its components. If you need to control LEDs or motors, simply swap out the modules.

How many amps can the current clamps handle? I would need 600amp clamps for my commercial buildings.
:a: Currenty, the module support SCT-013-000, 5A/1% 10A/1% 15A/1% 20A/1% 25A/1% 30A/1% 50A/1% 60A/1% 100A/1%, but we will think about 600A clamps. And we will update the website soon, and make everybody easy to understand what Rimu can do.
